Excuse me, thank you, please all these words are supposed to be used as signs of good manners and appreciation etc right? I am baffled lately especially the way in which it is perceived in society! Maybe it is where I live but I have noticed that people generally don’t use these words anymore. Especially in public…for example if you want to walk, passing someone in your way, you are meant to say excuse me please? Right? Well that’s what I do but it seems that when these words are uttered, it releases some kind if unappreciative aura with stare and stance! I beg to differ, I don’t understand it. I think maybe a lot of people don’t know about simple polite etiquette. So I am going to carry on having manners and teaching my children that having manners is so very important. “It is nice to be important, but it is more important to be nice”.
